Unhappy How can I use Adobe After Effects CS4 in wine?

    I get the error message

The program Setup.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

This can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in Wine. You may want to check...
when trying to install adobe After Effects CS4 on Ubuntu 10.10 using wine. I found this information and installed wine tricks however my installation files are not over 4 disks but one file, I can not remember why but I think I used some sort of installer before this to extract the files from the disk to Windows. However these are only the installation files rather the program files so I think this should still work.

Does anyone know how/why I get this error message,
    Thanks in advance,

Sorry but it's not going to happen.
WineHQ rates it as garbage. Installer crashes.
Numerous bug reports filed under it.

    WineHQ - Adobe After Effects CS4 (9.0.x)

Don't get excited about that one gold rating using Ubuntu 9.10
The person that posted that rating has only left a cryptic comment about
using only glx for video acceleration and some comment about a bug.
But no real details on how he got it working and he seems to be the only person who has tried installing AE CS4 that got it working.

If you really need AE CS4 I suggest you install Windows in VirtualBox and use AE in that.
Wine is fine for some apps but it's not the Holy Grail.
