windows program is using cvs and cannot log in
I have work environment in my job which provides executable file. It uses cvs by cvs library of some sort. With executable file .dll file is provided (cvs.dll).
Whenever I am trying to use that executable via wine I got message:
CVS credentials for host "WORKHOST" were rejected".
Credentials were provided for the program as in windows.
I know that dll file is used, because if I remove it from current directory then there is a message displayed.
I have WORKHOST defined in /etc/hosts file and even I created one in ~/.wine/c_direcotry/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts
I do not know why this keeps happening and why I cannot use that executable via wine.
Any ideas how to make program run under linux OS system?

Not all Windows applications work with Wine on Linux. You might be able to get it to work after a lot of futzing around, but my advice is to run Windows in a VM and run it as normal there.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
