hi! i have installed wine-1.3.33 and i have installed vlc-1.1.11-exe32.exe. but i vlc is not running. please help me in this method or suggest any other. thank you....

Is there a reason why you are using Wine to run VLC?
It's available in your package manager to install natively.Jay

^What he said. But in any case, if you want help with something, a minimum set of requirements for problem reports in general:

Especially since vlc has to deal with the video and sound layers directly, you should consider running the native Linux package as Jay said. But if you must run it via Wine, give us more details.
