I would suggest that you post this question on the winehq.org user forums.

    Hi all,
I am running wine am fedora14.
I need to run some apps, that need a serial port, and some to control usb hardware, how can I pass a serial port to wine?, how can I invoke a "found new hardware" equivalent to install a usb device into wine.
    Regards
    Parmesh

Parmesh, please do not hijack threads that others have started. You need to start your own. Until then, I for one will NOT answer your questions!
