    problems with winsock

The program that I use wine with does not do much until connected to the server. It is like a terminal program.

It is running fine until I try to connect and I get a winsock error
WinSock error 10013: Premission denied on Create() in RLConnectTo()

I thought that wine had built in winsock support.

Any thoughts on how to fix?

well i'm hardly an expert and am also a linux noob sort of, but i do fix broadband, looking at it logically
1- obviously something is trying to access internet through winsock (your program)
    2- doesn't work
3- either linux permissions is blocking it, or windows configuration is incorrect (just my opinion i may be wrong)

if your a programmer you may wan't to look at the code and see what exactly the program does

hope this at least vaguely helps
