well i gave up and bought cedega for wow, but im unable to get disk 2 to work, ive tried unmounting, but it wont read it in the installation, anyone ...

Cedega (IIRC) looks for discs in /dev/cdrom only. If your distribution mounts discs somewhere else (such as /media/cdrom) then it won't find the disc automatically. You might try manually mounting it to /dev/cdrom and seeing if it picks it up.

it is auto-finding the cd's other people have had the same problem...

ok hers wat im trying, i copied all the files in my hd and then ill have it pick up the data from the hard drive, how exactly would i do this?
- 05-27-2005 #8I don't think that's going to work, since WINE (and Cedega) require the programs to have been installed correctly with the appropriate registry entries and such (IIRC) before they'll pick up the files. But who knows. If you just want to see, you can run the main .EXE file from the command-line:
