Go to ur mounted windows partitions.
cd to C:/ProgramFiles/YahooMessenger
there u will see the ymsgr.exe
type in the konsole: wine ymsgr.exe
It will run the yahoo messenger using wine but i dont gurantee you whether it will work or not .Reply if it doesnt worked out!

you should install it in the linux partition to be safe. download the .exe from yahoo into your linux partition, and then use wine to install it:
if it doesn't install try a newer version of wine if you want or even try the cedega CVS to see if that works.Code:wine /home/techz_boy/downloads/yahooinstall.exe
Here's why Linux is easier than Windows:
Package Managers! Apt-Get and Portage (among others) allow users to install programs MUCH easier than Windows can.
Hardware Drivers. In SuSE, ALL the hardware is detected and installed automatically! How is this harder than Windows' constant disc changing and rebooting?
