    Just installed wine.

    I just installed Wine on my mandriva 2005LE system. I do not see it anyware in my application list. Can wine be run from the desktop, or is all command line?

    You can use wine with terminal very simple. Just use this command to execute a exe file:
    wine filename.exe
    or you can see other wine commands:
    ibrahim@tanha:~/Documents> wine
    wine              winecpp           wine-kthread      wineprefixcreate
    wineboot          winedbg           winelauncher      wine-preloader
    winebrowser       winedump          winemaker         wine-pthread
    winebuild         winefile          winemenubuilder   wineserver
    winecfg           wineg++           winemine          wineshelllink
    wineconsole       winegcc           winepath          winevdm
    Here i just use simple "tab" (2 time) after wine to see the list

    Depending on which distro you are using, you can right click and one of the options will be open with wine
