I just downloaded wine and installed it, first I went "./configure" then "make" then "make install" and whenever i try to run something with wine it'll say this
Code:
Wine: error while loading shared libraries: libwine.so.1: cannot open shared object file
No such file or directory
What does this mean and how can i fix it? any help would help please
I figure out that you must have encountered some errors during make ..or configure.
Have u noted them?
If not, then what I can say is that the Wine package was not built properly; check for the GCC version you have on your machine and then get a wine which is compatible with that verison.
