I don't know. What version of Wine are you using? What version of Winamp are you using?
Also, there are plenty of (better) media players in Linux. Why are you using Winamp?

im not sure, but i think its the latest version of wine, and its winamp v. 5.1
one of the reasons is the winamp radio.
the second is that xmms dont work
amarok wont start at all, mplayer and kaffeine are not easy to use with music.
- 11-03-2005 #5Most major distributions don't ship with the ability to play MP3s due to legal problems. Download the latest full version of XMMS from their website here:
