Error launching Call of Duty

hi guys,

i've installed Call of Duty using wine, and all seems to befine, except when i try to run it, it crashes and returns the following error:

163 sound file(s) are missing or in a bad format

it doesntlook like any problem on wine's side, so i'm guessing tomething went wrong during the instalation.

anyone had this same error or know how to fix it?

If you don't mind playing without sound, backup the original sound files to somewhere else, and just make the originals into empty files, and see what happens. I believe this is how I solved a similar problem playing Warcraft.
Just make sure you back up the originals, just in case.

I am experiencing the same problem.. is there any solution that will let me play or better yet, play with sound?

Guys just get Cedega. Cedega runs it fine and you can get it for free...
