    Call of Duty

    hi guys,

i've finally been able to get call of duty to run on my linux desktop, but i have two problems:

1 - the sound lags: there is a second or two delay between when i fire my gun and when i hear the shot. i know its not all that important, but it does affect the gaming experience.

2 - wine doesnt seem to be able to bring out all the rendering capabilities in cod because i have no sky at all. look, just a black layer:

    any ideas?

go on the cedega (transgaming) website and download the demo.
cedega is the commercial version of wine that has better support for games, you might have more luck with that.
You know, aliens are going to come to earth in 50 years and kill the hell out of us for DDoSing their networks with this SETI crap
