Quicken 2006 in wine
I can install Quicken 2006 (canadian version) using wine, but when i try to access an account a dialog asks:
Whether i press yes or no i get a Crash "Com error"Code:This application is requesting an ActiveX browser object but the Mozilla Active X control is currently not installed. Do you wish to download and install it?
So i tried to install MozillaControl1712.exe via wine but it asks where the /mozilla/bin layout directory is. Anybody have any clue what i can try? This seems to be the only version of Quicken that won't easily work in linux.Linux. Get Counted!! http://counter.li.org/

try winetools http://www.von-thadden.de/Joachim/WineTools/
this has the mozilla activeX control iirc. should work if you're lucky
Here's why Linux is easier than Windows:
Package Managers! Apt-Get and Portage (among others) allow users to install programs MUCH easier than Windows can.
Hardware Drivers. In SuSE, ALL the hardware is detected and installed automatically! How is this harder than Windows' constant disc changing and rebooting?
