    Locating Wine



    Where is Wine on the hard drive. Ill just admit it right now, I'm not used to navigating a linux hard drive, bad habits passed on from windows. I need to edit the c drive, but I cant find it. I tried going into usr/share/wine but that wont let me edit anything, even though Im the admin (even though thats prob not the right spot).

    Go to a terminal and type: whereis wine
    oz

    → new users: read this first

    The c: drive is a virtual one for each user. If you go to your home directory you should find a hidden folder - .wine - This is where you'll find your C: drive.

    I think I need to disable hidden folders all together, maybe thats why Im not finding things Thanks guys!
