No sound, Rollercoaster Tycoon 2

Hey guys,

I tried to install RCT 2 with Wine, worked, but NO SOUND
I use Kubuntu (Debian-build), and I use ALSA.
Anyone who can help me????

Does your sound usualy work?
What is Rollercoaster Tycoon 2? program or game?
If is a program ....wine is not god so a lot of programs wont work.
If is a game you should try CEDEGA ...it is much better emulator for games .

1. my sound usualy works, other people under (K)ubuntu have no sound too in RCT 2
2. its a game
3. i don't want to use cedega (it costs money)
4. i runs perfectly under wine, except the sound

This is not helpful for the following reasons:
A) I have already checked there and was hoping maybe someone had an idea for a workaround or something
B) I forgot to mention that I'm having the same problem with RCT 1, which the wine application database claims works perfectly with sound (but maybe some glitches of course)

In any case, I'm not looking for a great deal of research, just if someone has had this problem and overcome it. After all I didn't start the thread, I just said I have the same problem (albeit the original post was quite old).

Sometimes using OSS instead of ALSA fix the problem
