Wine display problems
Hello everyone. I'm running Mepis 6.0 and have already installed msttcorefonts. However, my WINE display is still goofed. It seems as though the window sizes aren't drawn correctly. It also seems as though button sizes are drawn incorrectly as text doesn't fit on them. This holds true for winecfg AND windows applications running through wine. See the screen shots below for a better idea of what i'm trying to explain.

I followed the instructions located here:

but, althought that allowed me to change the fonts and colors, did not fix the display problem. I am currently running linux on my laptop in 1280x800, but I have the same problem on my Xandros linux desktop PC.
