.NET Framework 2.0
I am trying to run an application which requires the .NET Framework 2.0 to run. Since it goes along with another program that runs in wine, I do not think that mono can be used. This said, is there an alternative to be able to run .NET 2.0 programs then to install .NET Framework 2.0? Because from what I tried and from what I read it is not possible to install it under wine nor is it likely to be in the near future.

DotGNU
You might want to take a look at DotGNU, it's another implementation of .NET, I'm not sure if it's for .NET 2.0 or 1.x, but it claims to support winforms.
