I have never tried it, but you can download the free trial and test it out. Most of the things you can do with it you can do natively in Linux already.

Till now, there's no program for opening .daa on Linux, it is a new format and maybe patented

I dont know since when but PowerISO has a linux binary...
The unregistered version can only do something like 300 MBs...
I assume there is a paid for linux version as well
