Resolution(stuck in 640x480) problem in Half-Life 2

Hi all,

I have recently installed Half-Life (Steam) on Wine and it works !
The problem is that it only works in 640X480 resolution which is pretty sad! Starting with -width, -height arguments or changing the resolution settings in regedit doesn't work. It starts with 640x480 regardless.

After a few hours of searching I have been unable to find this problem anywhere else on the net so it might be a problem with my setup.

I am running a custom(sort of) compiled wine 0.9.22 with a minor tweak - see http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6003 the first patch.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

i had the same problem with half-life 2 episode one
i ve newer solved it
