    Are you aware that you can set iTunes to rip to any number of formats other than M4A, such as MP3, FLAC or WAV? You can also use iTunes to convert M4As into MP3 files. Just for future reference.

    Thanks for the tip, I'll probably do that in the future but for my current files I'd rather go to the root of the problem and get m4a files working right with amarok.

    Code:
    $yum install gstreamer-plugins-ugly ffmpeg libmad0
    -I installed the above but no more options are showing up under Tools -> Configure Amarok -> Engine and I'm not quite shure of what I need to do.
    ???
