    System Tray

If a windows app makes a system try icons [ex. winzip, even though there are probbly zip apps for linux, or the WinAmp agent] will wine let this happen? Is there a system tray on linux?

The "Driver" for my Wirless Keyboard and Mouse use those:

No dirver needed, there is an app they call a driver which displays battery power for the mouse and keyboard, and it also tells u if caps lock is on, etc for the keyboard, to get this info i click on the picture of a mouse/keyboard in my system tray...

Take a look at the Wine FAQ (question 2.4 - last paragraph):

If you are considering running Wine, the FAQ will probably answer any other Wine questions you might have.

    THis makes me uneasy:

2.2. Does Wine emulate a full computer?

    No

But this part says that out of the what is still emulated there is a tray:

Wine also gives much better desktop integration - for instance, programs use your standard window manager, system tray icons will appear in your tray area (if you have one),

And win even amkes it faster? Cool!

What do u mean by dirvers, like *.drv or sys?

Cuz my drivers arent really drivrs at all I think they are EXes that make a system tray icon, I can still use my hardware but I cant find out battery power or other status, they even work in my PCs bios or in DOS/Boot CDs.

How ever I have an issue w/ DSL:
