Need help running Wine! Don't know how to create..

Ok, I just downloaded wine because I want to play Counter Strike Source. I was looking at the tutorial at linux-gamers.net and found it a bit confusing.
There is a step where it says that running wine would automatically create a fake windows c: drive. Thing is I don't see it anywhere. HOw do I go about creating one that I can actually see. Is it hidden? I also need to install the tahoma font which needs to be put in the font directory.
    Thanx a lot.

Oh yeah, I tried to run a windows game with 'wine Solitaire.exe' to test wine out but i got this message on my terminal

wine: could not load L"c:\\windows\\system32\\Solitarie.exe": Module not found

Can anyone help a noob out?
    Thanks again.
