I got wine installed and ran winecfg, but when I double click an EXE it doesn't run..

Make a launcher on your desktop with the command:

wine /path/to/exe

What app are you trying to run anyway? Odds are that there is a good OSS alternative.

I tired to run WinAmp for fun, it doesnt even work, I use RhytmBox. I have emualtors, and am surprsed that there are emualtors u can download right from the menu [whats the menu called in the top left corner, like the apple menu but w/ a ubuntu logo].

ALso I may wanna run Nero to burn and mount, most of my images are already in NRG, is there an app to birn and mount NRGs?

http://gregory.kokanosky.free.fr/v4/...rg2iso.en.html - Google is your friend. This will convert it to an ISO image which you can burn with a burning app.
