Is this what you were doing?

    1. cvs -dserver:cvs@cvs.transgaming.org:/cvsroot login
    2. When prompted for the password enter "cvs"
    3. cvs -z3 -dserver:cvs@cvs.transgaming.org:/cvsroot co winex
