bump.. invisible folders
I am here http://linux.wordpress.com/2007/02/0...source-and-16/
Now I can't get past where its telling me to..
# Go to the folder where the “Mozilla ActiveX control” (cd “~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Mozilla ActiveX Control v1.7.12″)
# Put MSVCP60.DLL in the folder where the “Mozilla ActiveX control” is.
# Register the mozctlx.dll (regsvr32 mozctlx.dll)
# Install Steam and all should work…
I am unable to browse this folder, actually it is not in my browers for Suse 10.1. However if I go to re-install ActiveX then it shows the folder as already being installed.
So no show with my nautilus.
Thats is my first bump in trying to get C:ss to work with linux.

changed my mind
It works..neat-0.
But I still don't know how to start it......
wine steam.exe doesn't work...actually i don't even know where I installed it too...well it is the default location, but I still cannot find valve..

Check ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/
In there should be a valve or steam folder. Find the steam executable and then run wine to run it.Looking for a distro? Look here.

funny part
That is the odd part, if I go to install mozilla from wine, I'll see it if i want to customize the location..and the valve folder.
Otherwise I only see Program Files/Common Files & nothing else.
What I've been doing is re-installing it over and over, mysetting are saved and it only takes a full minute...usually less to start up while saving my games and profile info.
