CS on Wine
Hey guys, I got a problem when I tried to play CS 1.6 by wine.
In the shell I got this errors:
fixme:d3d:IWineD3DDeviceImpl_GetAvailableTextureMe m (0x19ab50) : stub, simulating 64MB for now, returning 64MB left

fixme:wave:widDsCreate DirectSoundCapture not implemented
fixme:wave:widDsCreate The (slower) DirectSound HEL mode will be used instead.
fixme:mci:MCI_LoadMciDriver Couldn't load driver for type L"CDAUDIO".
If you don't have a windows installation accessible from Wine,
you perhaps forgot to create a [mci] section in system.ini
It don't load the main menu.
Is there any solution?

type winecfg in the terminal and change win version to win98/XP
go to the graphics tab and change the reasolution to 800x600 in the emulate virtual desktop
option.
if the above doesnt solve the problem the try pasting all the MS fonts in the wine/drive_c/windows/fonts directory.
Then it should work

Thank you man, but it was not the problem. I just needed to mark the OSS sound instead of the ALSA in winecfg =)
