Question Chief Architect 10 loads, promptly crashes.

This is probably more related to the fresh Wine Windows installation I installed and the fact that I upgraded my rig to an AMD64. The whole install process went on flawlessly. As opposed to when I was on my 32 bit system back in November, whatever I did made the installation from all three CDs take three hours as opposed to ten minutes. I have no idea what this means, I can only assume it has to do with an override or I'm missing some basic files.

This dialog box is a temporary status dialog to let you know
that Wine is attempting to launch your application.

Since Wine is still very much in a development stage,
    many applications will fail silently.
This dialog box is your indication
that we're *trying* to run your application.

This dialog box will automatically disappear after 30 seconds,

I've uploaded a dir list of everything in the wine's windows dir, along with my user.reg and system.reg files. Thanks in advance!

Chief Architect X1 loads for me with wine-0.9.39

I just tried the currently downloadable demo, chief architect x1,
and it seems to install and start ok on wine-0.9.39 as long as you
install the ms vc 2005 runtimes and the arial font, e.g.
    sh winetricks vcrun2005 corefonts
though it does crash eventually on my machine under use if
    you don't have this patch
Random X errors caused by recent cursor patch?

I couldn't find a place to download the version 10 trial.
