    Lightbulb warhammer 40k

    I just loaded warhammer 40k on my laptop running ubuntu 7.04. the install went ok but I did have to manually eject the cds by typing ( wine eject ) in a terminal window , when it was time to change cds. My winecfg is set to XP.

    once the game started it was jerky and unplayable. so back to winecfg. I tried setting the windows version to others, but to no avail.

    I then decided to check my audio properties in winecfg. I set the audio to the lowest level ( 8000 ), and now the game playes awsome.

    I don't know if this will help anyone else, but I thought I would post it anyway.

    Indeed it did

    I was wondering about playing DoW on Ubuntu and decided to try it out......and sure enough, thanks to you, all is groovy
