I have installed MSN Messenger 6.2 properly using wine-20040615 on Fedora Core 1. It runs but when I try to sign in, the shell gave me these errors:

The only error I get is "fixme: ras: RasEnumConnectionsA RAS support is not implemented! Configure program to use LAN Connection/winsock instead!" But, how do you use LAN Connection or Winsock?

    Please help me!

I dunno, but isn't it a better idea to just use Gaim instead? Seeing that MSN Messenger is one of Microsoft's core programs, it's very likely that it's using lots of undocumented API calls which can't be implemented in Wine.

i recommend instead of using msn in wine you try out amsn here is a link to it and it works pretty good
    http://amsn.sourceforge.net/

and then there is always gaim wish work for msn, yahoo, aim, icq and a few others

The advantage of Gaim for you is that it comes with the distro.

Yeah, that's what I meant by "core" program... it's very unlikely that they've implemented webcam support and remote assistance, etc. in Wine.

Well, I'm sorry - I'd really like to give you better news, but I highly doubt that it is possible.
