Does Wine need Windows partition ?

Does Wine need a Windows Partition to run programs ? I want to leave Windows forever so I need your help. Thanks !

it does not need a windows partition...it creates a drive that looks like a c drive in you linux formatted partition...get rid of windows at your pleasure :D
