Hi I am wanting to Solid Edge modeler to work in linux. I am running ubuntu 7.2 I think. I have never used wine but was wondering if you all would be able to help me? I have no idea what all need so please if you do know how take it from the beginning and slow please. Sorry not that good with linux yet. Thanks for the help
not good with linux? it's not a problem. firstly, you should install wine. your distro should provide a method for installing it (follow their instructions). then go to Wine HQ for more details in running wine. i've never heard of solid edge and, tbh, i doubt it will work. winehq has a list of applications known to work (although it's far from complete) and it should also have the basic instruction manual on too.
