Is there any way to get this program running in linux via wine or any other method? When running the install file for wmc2.0 (using newest version of wine) I get..
"Unable to find a volume for file extraction.
Please verify that you have proper permissions."
So that doesn't seem like it's going to work, unless I'm missing something here. I'd really rather not have to set all this crap back up so I could dual boot with windows just to run this program. Any ideas?
Unfortunately, it is generally highly MS specific programs like this that are the least likely to work under WINE, your better bet is to see if someone has incorporated support for some of its features into some OSS solution. VLC tends to be on the cutting edge of MS specific integration....
