wine does not work!!
I tried to run winamp several times but it just doesn't want to run.
Can anyone help me with this? thanks. My winamp.exe is located under /drive_c/Program Files/Winamp/winamp.exe and type the correct directory in the terminal but always get the message that wine cannot find the specified directory.
Thanks for the help.

Hi ted.stevens...
Are you inside the directory where the .exe is located?
Code:
cd drive_c/Program Files/Winamp
Then:
Or:
Code:
cd drive_c/Program Files/Winamp && wine winamp.exe
WinAmp is a damn fine player, but why not just run it under Windows? Xmms is the Linux equivalent to WinAmp and ever looks like it sharing the same skins. I've used Xmms for years in professional sound and radio situations. It's a great player you should check out and will give you far less headaches that running WinAmp under Wine.

Or use something newer like the Beep Media Player, it's based on GTK2 at least!
