For anyone having troubles starting up wireless!

This is just a heads up for anyone having problems connecting to their wireless so that you can avoid the hours that I wasted trying to pinpoint the problem.

Here's basically what I had, internet working at home perfectly and at school but failed to connect at my girlfriends apartment or her parents house. I could see their networks but couldn't connect, posted several messages on the forum and everyone asked me to check settings, I thought I had checked everything relevant but I was wrong. The problem.....you have to have a password that is in WEP format not WPA....I'm an idiot. I read online that there is a special way to make it work with WPA but I figure it's easier just to change the password to WEP and put in a nice random 26 character password. Thus...problem solved
