cannot modprobe ndiswrapper

After many efforts I -hope- successfully installed ndiswrapper in Fedora 7. After installing the driver and tried to modprobe I get

Quote:

FATAL: module ndiswrapper does not exist

But I just installed it. Anyone that has a clue, jump in and help me

Feodra/CentOS just seems to give me all sorts of grief when trying to configure wireless, yet, the same wireless hardware is a breeze with Slackware, Crux and especially Ubuntu. This is from a Gentoo doc I had found online.

If you recive "FATAL:Module ndiswrapper not found" Try the following.

depmod -a
modprobe ndiswrapper

If that still fails, reboot and try modprobe ndiswrapper again.

Not a fix, and not very appealing, but it might work.

I am using WPA-PSK TKIP for encryption. I currently connect with KNetworkManager.
