wireless internet setting fedora7

Hi Folks,
I have Network Controller Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g wireless LAN controller (rev 03).

I need to know what driver I need to download? Also direct me where can I download this driver?

bcm43xx is already in your distro. If kudzu did not find your device and install it, you can try to load the module yourself. From the command line as root:
Code:
/sbin/modprobe bcm43xx
If no errors, proceed to the network configuration utility...
Code:
system-config-network
Mixed reviews on the bcm43xx... a lot of folks use ndiswrapper with this chipset and get it working very well as I have. That's a little more involved though. I'd try the bcm43xx first...

I see that Fedora 7 uses a different version of that module, called bcm43xx_mac80211.

Here is a link to another thread on this. Go to the last few posts, where someone has posted a link to a How-To:

You also need to use bcm43xx-fwcutter to get the firmware from the Windows driver. So it is not a purely Linux driver option.
