If this doesn't work, I won't be surprised. I have not been able to connect using wpa_supplicant for some time. I have just been trying again, and it still won't work.
I have been using the NetworkManager service and the KNetworkManager GUI to connect. You select the specifics for your connection, and it connects!. It will save the password in KWallet, and ask for the KWallet password when you try to connect. T he connection starts up at boot, but waits for your password before it connects.Paul

I'm not sure where to go from here. Maybe give NetworkManager a try.
You haven't said which distro you are using, so NetworkManager may not be an option.
Edit: You posted your distro at the same time I asked for it.
Great minds think alike!

I'm not sure where you downloaded it from, but I just downloaded it from here:
*KNetworkManager KDE-Apps.org
The installation instructions say this:
Here's a wiki for unsermakeThe simplest way to compile this package is:
1. `cd' to the directory containing the package's source code and type
`./configure' to configure the package for your system. If you're
using `csh' on an old version of System V, you might need to type
`sh ./configure' instead to prevent `csh' from trying to execute
`configure' itself.
Running `configure' takes a while. While running, it prints some
messages telling which features it is checking for.
2. Type `make' to compile the package.
3. Type `make install' to install the programs and any data files and
documentation.
4. You can remove the program binaries and object files from the
source code directory by typing `make clean'.

There is a page for configuring network cards on the BackTrack web site:
Howto: How to configure your Network Card - Offensive-security.com
And a little bit about your card here:

To answer your original question, I never heard of unsermake before. When I did a make, it gave me this warning, but then continued:
I then tried this:Code:WARNING: use unsermake instead of make or use a wrapper script, e.g. makeobj!!! unsermake all
And it didn't do anything, no errors either.Code:# unsermake all
I don't want to do an install, as I already have it installed. I hope it works for you.Paul
