ZoneCD

I'm trying to get a ZoneCD box running. I've got through all the config steps and when I first try to access a page I get redirected to the portal and click the Login button, but then I get a basic error page saying 'Access Denied' (not a 403 page, but one of ZoneCD's custom pages). After I fool around with some settings (can't rememer which now, it doesn't seem to be very consistent) I get redirected to

http://ssl.publicip.net/zone/control/?zone_id=&limit=&access=&control=

It seems like that would be the page for Closed mode where you're using all the extra features, but I've got got it running in Open mode.

The docs are pretty basic and as far as I can tell I'm doing everything right, and it's a a fairly simple config process. Has anyone set one up before?
