can't obtain ip adress
I just recently installed feisty and then upgraded to gutsy (I don't have a cd burner on hand) and I like the improvement for the wireless driver. Problem is, I can't connect. After some frustration I think I have narrowed it down.
When I enter the command dhclient eht1, I get this in my terminal.
There is already a pid file /var/run/dhclient.pid with pid 134519120

It looks as if the router is not supplying the IP address. Is the router set up properly?

yea, i think that is the problem too. I was in enlightenment window manager, but now that I've tried it in xfce, it works fine. sometime soon I'll run the same thing and check out any differences. I'm not sure if it was different programs or what.
