I am trying to get a little understanding of why a Windows wifi driver is different from a Linux wifi driver. I have a wifire
usb wifi antenna that doesnt have a linux driver yet(coming)
It only works with Windows and Mac right now.
Can someone get me started with understanding what happens in a driver that has to be different with different
OS.?? I would think that once the signal is demodulated into numbers it would be the same for any os..??
