Help With Setup

Realtek 8101E. The Realtek site shows a different model number but there are three links for download of Linux supported drivers. Realtek

For giggles, you might try to boot a live CD of Puppy Linux 3.01 to see if your chipset is supported.

I had amazing results on my new Compaq laptop using Sabayon as well. Sabayon
just doesn't like my AMD Athlon-based tower which is too bad because it's got
such a cool desktop look and feel.
