usb hsupa modem on xandros and ubuntu
I have a usb cellular modem , wich I can get working under ubuntu by doing the following :
modprobe usbserial vendor=0x1614 product=0x800
then the device identifies as a modem name ttyUSB0 , and I can dial with kppp
now, I also have an eeepc with Xandros
when trying a make a new connection (with connection wizard) my modem is NOT listed under "GSM /3G..."
and there is no ttyUSB0 device in /dev
how can I make xandros identify my modem?
please help me,
