TechMan Just Joined! Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 3	Ubuntu and Aztech DSL router Hi, One of my friend has an Aztech DSL router. This one: ADSL2+ wireless modem router, ADSL2+ 4-port router He tried it on Ubuntu but it was not detecting? Could it be because of drivers or something!? Haven't checked it though but this is what he told me. Thanks

waterhead Trusted Penguin Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Franklin, Wisconsin Posts: 3,954	A router doesn't need any drivers to be installed, as it is part of the network. What needs drivers are the wireless and wired network cards that are installed on the PC. If your friend has a working Windows setup, and then installed Ubuntu on the same machine, then he may need to install or setup the correct drivers. __________________ Paul Please do not PM me with requests for help.
