[SOLVED] realtek rtl8187b help
ok i have a gateway mt6730 with a realtek rtl8187b wireless card and i need help installing the driver for it from start to finish using ndiswrapper

p.s. i need help installing nidswrapper and im running debian

edit: i have nidswrapper downloaded but i cant install it i get an error when i run make and i also have the driver ready

You'll need to post the exact error message and what steps you have taken so far.
If you check the NDIS website, it will tell you what you need to have installed before installing NDISwrapper.
Quote:

I'm not familiar with Debian so I don't know the exact names of the packages you need.

It seems to me that you might need the kernel headers installed.Search your package manager for kernel-headers, I'm sure you'll find it there somewhere.
