sees network, can't connect

i'm having a problem that i dont' understand all aspects of, first of all my wireless internet has worked perfectly but all of a sudden it won't connect though it sees the network. when i right click on the icon i get enable networking but no "enable wireless" icon, when i run iwconfig i get ESSID: any/off and when i manually configure i dont know the password/there isn't a password it shows the router and about 30% strength but it won't let me connect, any ideas?

now that i think of it i think the problem occured while i was connected and i reset the router/unplugged the internet. i don't know what this would have done to it but i'm pretty sure it did something
