Those links that you referred to don't seem to apply to your wireless. There are a lot of Realtek chips with similar names.

To diagnose problems, you can view the system log. You can see the entire log with this command:

Look for any messages about wlan. Also look for anything about firmware, as this is usually a sticky point with wireless drivers. The log output is rather long, so scoll back to see the entire output.
