    Hello;
    Different user, similar problem.
    Compaq Evo N400c with a W200 (orinoco wifi card). I do have a hard connection. I've installed Ubuntu 10.04 (I've tried 11.04 several times with no success).
    Following the directions MUCH earlier, I get up to the "make" command but I get some errors:
    make -C /usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.32-34-generic M=/home/family/orinoco_usb/usb KERNELRELEASE=2.6.32-34-generic modules
    make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.32-34-generic'

    /home/family/orinoco_usb/usb/orinoco_usb.c: In function ‘ezusb_request_out_callback’:

    /home/family/orinoco_usb/usb/orinoco_usb.c:1535: warning: assignment discards qualifiers from pointer target type
    make[2]: *** [/home/family/orinoco_usb/usb/orinoco_usb.o] Error 1
    make[1]: *** [_module_/home/family/orinoco_usb/usb] Error 2
    make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.32-34-generic'
    make: *** [modules] Error 2
    Not sure where to go from here.
    Any help would be appreciated;
    Merl
