wifi enabling!!urgent help
i have an arm board...
it has to be enabled for wifi..
the configuration is such that it is ready for wifi communication.,.,all the drivers are up,but when it tries to send discover signal to the network,it keeps doin that with a message that says no wireless extensions...
but it keeps sending "discover" signal ...
and i cant ping to any site..
if i read dmesg log,i can see that drivers for wlan are up and ethernet too..
still no success...please help with adequate steps..
i am a newbie..dun kno anyhing about this..!
what should i do ....please help....

I'm not familiar with that wireless, so please give me complete information. First, what Linux distro are you using?
Now, post the output of these commands:

Code:lsmod
Code:dmesg
