    Ubuntu Wireless Problem on Dell

    My wireless is not working. I just installed Ubuntu and am having troubles. I have a Dell Inspiron 2200. My network controller is Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 [Airforce 54g] 802.11a
    Please help if you can. I would really like to start using Linux as soon as possible.

    You will need to install firmware first before it will work. You will need a wired internet connection to do this.

    Here are the instructions for doing this in Ubuntu:
    b43 - Linux Wireless

    Luckily, Ubuntu has an installation script to make this process easier.
