    No wireless connection

    Hi everybody
I purchased a dell mini inspiron 910 which has Ubuntu system. I am unable to connect it to my wireless router USR 8054. My mini laptop does recognize the wireless connection but fails to connect.

Hello and Welcome to Linux Forums. Please provide some output listed in the commands below and hopefully someone will be able to help you.

    sudo lspci |grep net
If your network card is USB then use this command instead of the above command
    sudo lsusb
    sudo ifconfig
    sudo lsmod
Do you use WPA or WEP? Do you know the address of the router page? Whch took are you trying to connect with? Networkmanager?
Paste as much info as you can, we'll see what we can do.
I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.
